How do radiators work? It starts with coolant absorbing the heat your engine produces as it runs. The coolant takes it on as it flows between inlets and outlets with help from your radiator hose. As it travels back and forth, a radiator cap compresses it so it can absorb as much heat as possible. The brazed aluminum fins on your radiator core block then expel the heat, and a fan dissipates it. The result: your engine not only works better but also lasts longer.

It'll tell you if your engine's running too hot. Then, run an inspection to figure out if it's because of your radiator.
